Gorham Woman’s Club will meet on Thursday, Jan. 12, in Fellowship Hall at the First Parish Church, 1 Church St.

Refreshments will be served at 12:30 p.m.

New England Regional President Cathy White will speak at 1 p.m. She also will present 50-year pins to several club members.

Jesse Coleman of My-FIT-24 will speak when Gorham Business Exchange meets 5:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17, at Gorham Savings Bank, 10 Wentworth Drive, Gorham.

The topic is “ Healthy Workers, Healthy Bottom Line.”

Registration is now open for Gorham Business Exchange’s 15th annual Marketplace set for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, in the Costello Field House on the Gorham campus of the University of Southern Maine.

Those who register early will save money on reduced booth fees and be included in pre-show publicity.

Marketplace 2012 will showcase quality products and services available in the Gorham area. Every year thousands of shoppers visit Marketplace to eat, enjoy local talent, sign up for vendor prizes, receive cost savings on show specials, and have a chance to win cash prizes.

Mercier heads festival fund drive

Mary Mercier is chairwoman of fundraising for Gorham Founders Festival to be held Friday, May 25, and Saturday, May 26.

GHS Hall of Fame nominations available

Martha Harris of the Gorham High School Athletic Hall of Fame has announced that nomination applications are available by contacting Tim Spear, athletic director, at Gorham High School, 41 Morrill Ave., Gorham.

Nominations are due on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Athletes can be considered for induction after being out of high school 10 years; anyone graduating in the year 2002 and before is eligible.
