The 11th annual Wyman Lake Ice Fishing Derby will be held Jan. 20-22. Weigh-in will be at Moscow Boat Launch, eight miles north of Bingham on Route 201. Scales close at 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Contest tickets are $10 each and a $1 raffle ticket for Maine Youth Lifetime Fishing License is available on the website www.upperkennebecvalleychamber.com.

A free ice fishing clinic and demonstration will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the boat launch. Contact Cyndee Gagnon or Karen Donahue for information at 672-4100.

Frozen Ropes will hold a pitching clinic Jan. 21 featuring Charlie Furbush of the Mariners The clinic is for ages 8-18 and will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers.
