Army Spc. Pernell J. Herrera, 33, of Espanola, N.M., died Dec. 31, in Helmand province, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered in a non-combat incident.
Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Chad R. Regelin, 24, of Cottonwood, Calif., died Jan. 2, 2012, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
