The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust ( KELT) recently received a $ 1,000 Alfred M. Senter Fund Grant to upgrade outdated computer equipment.
In 2011, the organization recorded 2,000 volunteer hours on projects, including trail maintenance, database entry, event support, and monitoring of water quality and the eight land preserves totaling more than 700 acres managed by the land trust, according to a press release.
The Alfred M. Senter Fund is a private charitable foundation promoting cultural, educational and environmental well-being for residents of Brunswick, Topsham, Durham, Harpswell, West Bath, Lisbon and Bath.
