WEST BATH
A Woolwich man escaped serious injury after his truck rolled over Saturday morning on Route 1, according to the Sagadahoc County Sheriff ’s Department.
The single-vehicle rollover was reported at 8:31 a.m. Chief Deputy Brett Strout said a 1993 Ford truck driven by Alexander Shaw, 36, of 39 Shady Lane, Woolwich, flipped on icy Route 1 in West Bath.
Police closed the road while dealing with the crash. Shaw sustained minor injury but did not require hospitalization, according to Strout. His truck sustained about $10,000 in damage.
Strout said Tuesday that Deputy Mark Anderson is investigating the crash.
