GARDINER (AP) — Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the robbery of prescription drugs from a Gardiner pharmacy this week.
Police say the youth was arrested Tuesday in connection with the robbery Monday of a Rite Aid on Spring Street.
The boy, whose name was not made public because of his age, is being held at Mountain View Youth Detention Center in Charleston while he awaits a preliminary court appearance.
No one was injured during the robbery in which the thief made off with an undisclosed amount of drugs. Police say some have been recovered.
