DRESDEN
An Augusta man reportedly veered off the road in Dresden on Dec. 28 after overcorrecting for a wind gust that blew his 2008 Ford Ranger over the center line.
According to a report from Lincoln County Sheriff Todd Brackett, Daniel R. Smith, 56, struck a utility pole off Middle Road in Dresden after veering from the road. The report does not indicate that Smith suffered major injuries.
