BRUINS NOTES: On Monday, the Manchester Monarchs snapped the Bruins’ four-game win streak with a 4-1 home win. During that win streak, left wing Craig Cunningham had two winning goals. In four games against the Pirates, right wing Carter Camper has two goals and three assists. While starting four of the Bruins’ last five games, goalie Anton Khubodin had a 1.75 goals-against average.
PIRATES NOTES: The Pirates, 2-1-0-1 against the Bruins, have earned points in five of their last seven games. Right wing Brett MacLean, who has seven goals in the last six games, has a three-game point streak. Since recovering from a thumb injury, center Brock Trotter has at least one point in 7 of 9 games.
