Kari is the daughter of Robert and Faye Simpson of Wells.
Dustin and Kari are both graduates of the University of Maine at Farmington. Dustin is employed as a marketing associate at Maine.gov. Kari is a preschool teacher at the Henry L. Cottrell School in Monmouth.
A September 2012 wedding is planned.
