HARPSWELL’S John Leo Murray Jr. American Legion Post 171 hosted its fifth annual pizza Christmas party for Togus VA longterm care patients on Dec. 16. Each patient received an individually wrapped gift containing personal items and canteen coupons. Post 171’s gift for the Community Room was an Xbox Kinect gaming system. Best Buy donated bowling and archery games for the motion-sensing game system. Pictured behind from left are Post 171 Chaplain Roger Dumont, Santa (Roy Knight), and Togus recreation therapist Liz Coumaras-Marrone. Also assisting Santa were members of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard.
