BATH
A two-car accident that hit a power pole in a 25 mph zone in front of Dike- Newell School this morning caused some residents in the area to lose power briefly.
Lt. Stan Cielinski of the Bath Police Department said that the call came in for the accident at 8:12 a.m. and that by 8: 35 a. m. there was no report of a medical transport for passengers. Nearby residents told officers that their electricity was out following the accident.
Gail Rice, spokeswoman for Central Maine Power, said this morning that there was no extensive outage in the area from the accident.
