PORTLAND — A tenant is homeless after fire heavily damaged a townhouse at 74 Croquet Lane on Sunday.

The fire started around 5 p.m., said Deputy Chief Robert Wassick. No one was injured, but the townhouse is uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
