To the editor:
“Seussical” is the show that will not be stopped. Midcoast Youth Theater is proving itself to be a tenacious organization with volunteers who will not allow obstacles to get in the way of children’s theater performances.
There was a change in venue for last weekend’s performances of “Seussical,” but the show opened at St. John’s School thanks to their gracious offer to allow us to perform there.
This weekend brings yet another change in venue. Midcoast Youth Theater will perform “ Seussical” at Crooker Theater in Brunswick High School at 7 p.m.. Friday, and again at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday.
Although faced with difficult logistics and overwhelming obstacles, throwing our hands in the air and giving up is not an option. The crew and cast of 44 area performers, ranging in age from 5 to approximately 65 and primarily consisting of children, has been rehearsing for 2.5 months to bring this show to life.
Bring your family to “Seussical” this weekend at Crooker Theater. You will be supporting some hardworking kids who have put their hearts into this amazing show.
