“ The concert features a variety of traditional — and not so traditional — carols, gospel and spirituals as well as the uplifting music of John Rutter to set a seasonal mood,” a release from the chorus states. “The program concludes with an amusing arrangement of ‘Jingle Bells’ that is sure to leave the audience ‘laughing all the way.’”
In its 18th year, the Greater Freeport Community Chorus performs under the direction of Virgil Bozeman with accompaniment from Dorothy Cuprak, both of Richmond.
Tickets cost $10 for adults or $5 for students and seniors. Advance tickets are available at the Freeport Community Center Clothes Tree and Music and Moore, Topsham.
