BRUNSWICK — In addition to endorsing the goals of a disposition plan for former military housing units in Brunswick and tabling a proposed fireworks ban and fireworks permit amendment, the Town Council conducted the following business Monday:
— Approved by unanimous vote a request from Fire Chief Ken Brillant to apply for a $142,250 federal Homeland Security Grant to fund radio improvements and provide training for the fire department’s hazardous materials team.
— Approved by unanimous vote a special amusement license for 1827 LLC, represented by Kevin Savage and doing business as the Captain Daniel Stone Inn, 10 Water St.
— Amended by unanimous vote a special amusement license to allow first floor entertainment for AKI, Inc., represented by Tina Cigri, Laura Cigri, Valami Ly and Bihuoy Liu doing business as Aki Inc., 94 Maine St.
