BAGHDAD ( AP) — Iraqi officials say a series of attacks mainly targeting security forces have killed at least 5 people.
The officials say a roadside bomb killed three policemen today in the predominantly Sunni suburb of Abu Ghraib, west of the capital.
They also say gunmen killed a police captain at his house in Fallujah, 40 miles west of Baghdad, and a bomb killed an Iraqi contractor in Kirkuk, 180 miles north of the capital.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.
