BRUNSWICK — A reception for the artists and patrons responsible for two sculptures recently donated to Curtis Memorial Library will run from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the library, 23 Pleasant St.
Arts patrons Susan and James Carter gave sculptures titled “Night Portage” by Mark Herrington and “Woman With Swan” by Lise Becu to the library. Both have been placed in the library’s garden.
June LaCombe, an art dealer from Pownal, will host the reception.
Library director Elisabeth Doucett will give remarks and present commemorative slate plaques. The public is invited.
