BUXTON — The Route 4A bridge on the Buxton and Hollis town line will be shut down Thursday for repair work.

Buxton Police Chief Michael Grovo said the Maine Department of Transportation needs to close the bridge from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow crews the time they need to complete the work.

Grovo said signs will be set up to direct traffic to alternate routes.
