BRUNSWICK — Brunswick High School will host its annual financial aid evening for juniors, seniors and their parents at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Crooker Theater.
Students and parents are encouraged to attend. The forum will give parents and students the opportunity to listen to a financial aid officer explain the process of financing a college education — what financial aid is and where it comes from, how eligibility is determined and how to apply.
The FAFSA and CSS Profile will be explained, and information about how colleges put together a financial aid package will be available.
A question- and- answer period will follow. Scholarship information also will be provided.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
