BATH
A meeting of the Bath Planning Board originally scheduled for Tuesday evening has been postponed to an undetermined date, the Planning Department announced Friday
City Planner Andrew Deci wrote the single item on Tuesday’s agenda — a second review of an application by Hyde School to replace a dormitory — would be postponed, along with a board workshop scheduled for 5 p.m.
“Hyde School has actively been working with myself and the Public Works department to resolve the off-site storm water management issues that disaffect their application for a site plan,” Deci wrote in the announcement. “Although a partnership has been informally agreed to, formal documentation of the plan has not been received for distribution yet. Instead of hoping to have that document in hand on Tuesday, I would prefer to delay until January, when a solid plan can be presented to you. Additional time will also allow further work to progress on developing relationships with the affected landowners.”

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
