BRUNSWICK
A pickup truck exiting Bath Iron Works’ Harding Plant struck a 58- year- old Bath woman who was riding her bike Thursday morning on Bath Road.
Molly Gardner, 58, of 7 Cato Ave., Bath, was headed west on the right shoulder of Bath Road when a 2010 Dodge pickup truck driven by 52-year-old James Bosse of Lisbon failed to yield and struck Gardner’s bicycle as it crossed Bridle Road, according to Deputy Chief Marc Hagan of the Brunswick Police Department.
Gardner was knocked off the bicycle and transported to Mid Coast Hospital with a complaint of back pain. She was treated and released, according to a hospital spokesman.
Bosse, who told police he didn’t notice Gardner’s bicycle passing, was not charged, Hagan said.
