BATH — The Bath Elementary Parent Teacher Association will team up with several local restaurants to offer “Dinner and a Movie” night on Friday.
Parents with children in the Bath elementary schools are invited to drop off their elementary students at the Fisher-Mitchell School gym from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for a holiday movie and light refreshments.
While the children are watching the film, parents are invited to spend their time shopping in downtown Bath and eating dinner or dessert at one of these local restaurants: The Cabin Restaurant, The Taste of Maine Restaurant, Solo Bistro, J. R. Maxwell’s & Co., Admiral Steakhouse, Kennebec Tavern, Byrnes’ Irish Pub and Dot’s Ice Cream Shop.
The eight restaurants made a donation to the Bath Elementary PTA Fund in support of this event and are inviting parents to spend Friday night at their establishments.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
