BUXTON – Police are searching for a woman who robbed the Buxton Rite Aid Pharmacy at 10:30 a.m. today by making a threat and demanding narcotics.

Once handed narcotics, the woman left the store and was last seen walking into the parking lot.

She was described as between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and wearing a white knit hat, sunglasses, a white turtleneck, a long black coat, black gloves, jeans and sneakers.

Buxton police were assisted by police from Gorham, the York County and Cumberland sheriff’s departments and Maine State Police. A search using a K-9 unit was unsuccessful.
