People Plus planning holiday card workshop
BRUNSWICK — The People Plus Center, 35 Union St., will host a program about “re-purposing” holiday cards from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 1. Connie Bailey will lead the program.
“Bring in your old greeting cards, pictures, photos, ribbons, buttons, etc.,” a People Plus release states. “We’ll provide the card stock and envelopes. This class is sure to get your holiday fires burning as you create beautiful one-of-a-kind cards to send to loved ones. (We need colored pens, glitter, scissors, pencils and glue and anything else you’d like to use to decorate, if you have any to bring along as well).”
The suggested donation to participate is $5 per person. The number of participants will be capped at 15.
To register, call People Plus at 729-0757.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
