DRESDEN
The Maine Department of Transportation will hold an informational public meeting on Dec. 7 to discuss the future replacement of the Maine Kennebec Bridge, which carries Route 197 over the Kennebec River between Dresden and Richmond.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at Pownalborough Hall, 314 Patterson St.
State transportation officials will be available to hear concerns and comments and answer questions about the project, according to an announcement.
“The department is particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources and identifying local concerns and issues,” the release states.
Accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities. Auxiliary aids will be provided upon advance request.
