HARPSWELL’S JOHN LEO MURRAY JR. AMERICAN LEGION POST 171 observes Veterans Day on Nov. 11 by, among other activities, listening to vocalist Dorie Barnes. This year’s ceremony was the first to be televised by Harpswell Community Television and included readings and memorials for Post 171 transfers to Post Everlasting and the 49 Mainers who have died in Afghanistan and Iraq.
