Four names appear on the Topsham municipal ballot to fill three positions representing the town on the School Administrative District 75 board of directors.
Topsham voters will be able to check ballots for three candidates. The three candidates who receive the highest vote totals Tuesday will win election to the board of directors of SAD 75, which provides public education for students from Topsham, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham and Harpswell.
Incumbent Jane Scease is running for a second threeyear term on the school board.
James S. Cusano serves on the school board. He seeks election to a full three-year term. The Topsham Board of Selectmen appointed Cusano to the school board in April 2010 to fill the unexpired term of Robert Hill, and again in December 2010 to fill the remaining term of Claudia Beckwith, who resigned. This is the first time that Cusano has submitted nomination papers to seek election to the board.

Board member Roland Tufts decided not to seek reelection.
Biographical information about each of the four candidates is listed below. Their responses to a series of questions about the election can be found at www.timesrecord.com.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
