WEST PARIS ( AP) — A family of six is homeless following a weekend blaze that gutted their West Paris home.
Fire Chief Norm St. Pierre says the blaze at the home of Josh and Kristy Basso was reported just before 11 a.m. on Sunday. No one was injured.
St. Pierre says Josh Basso and his four sons were playing outside when they heard what sounded like dishes breaking in the kitchen. Basso entered the home to find flames coming from a stove. The cause was determined to be a cardboard box full of wood next to the stove.
