Maine Premier Soccer, Spurwink Services and the town and community of Falmouth combined to host the first annual TOPSoccer Unified Camp amid record heat last month. TOPSoccer is a non-profit program with the mission of giving children with mental or physical disabilities the opportunity to learn, play and enjoy soccer. The campers, ages ranging from 5-19, came from various backgrounds, abilities and walks of life. There were students from Spurwink Schools, members of the Portland Boys and Girls Club, players from the MCU/Phoenix U-11 team and others who just wanted to have a good time playing soccer.
