Revolutionary War event
Two daylong living history presentations of a Revolutionary War encampment, featuring British and American military camps, will be held Saturday and Sunday, both beginning at 10 a.m. at Fort McClary State Historic Site and Park, Pepperrell Road (Route 103).
Artillery demonstrations will be held and cannons fired hourly. A maritime folk concert will be performed from 4:15 to 5:30 on Saturday.

Program on river’s barriers
Georgetown Historical Society at 20 Bay Point Road will feature a free talk at 7 p.m. onTuesday on the history of the Kennebec River and the results of a 2010 barrier survey by the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust that aims to improve fish passage and identify needed habitat restoration projects.
Speakers include trust President Jack Witham and Charles Baeder, a member of the Penobscot River Restoration Trust and past project manager for the survey.
