The Moxie Festival — with the theme of “Moxie … It’s Maine in a bottle!” — attracted a crowd to Lisbon Falls on Saturday to pay homage to the bittersweet soda created by a Mainer in the 1870s. Events included a 5K road race, a parade with antique Moxie cars, the Moxie Chug N Challenge, the Chief Worumbo Androscoggin River Race and the Spirit of the Wolf Pow Wow.
