Dartmouth Medical School, Hanover, N.H.: Michael Erkkinen of Yarmouth, was selected to be a Rolf C. Syvertsen Scholar. The endowed award is chosen by a faculty committee and commemorates a former professor of anatomy and long-time dean. Erkkinen was also elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, a medical honor society. He will graduate in 2012.
