PORTLAND — Ryan Casale pitched a three-hitter and hit a two-run single to lead First Title to a 7-0 victory over Moody’s Collision in a Zone 4 American Legion baseball game Tuesday night.
Moody’s earned a split when Damon Wallace and Tom Hazelton combined to hold First Title (2-1) to three hits in a 6-3 victory.
Nick Melville had two hits, an RBI and a run scored for First Title in the opener.
Alex McCarthy and Spencer Lapierre each knocked in two runs for Moody’s (1-4) in the second game. Harry Ridge had an RBI single for First Title.
MORRILL POST 5, CUMBERLAND 0: Andrew Richards pitched a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts to lead Morrill Post (2-1) to a win at South Portland.
Brendan Horton singled home Paul Reny in the first and Evan Indorf tripled and scored on Thomas Salamone’s single during a two-run second as Morrill Post took a 3-0 lead.
SACO-BIDDEFORD SAVINGS 10, LIBBY-MITCHELL 0: Matt Weimer allowed just a first-inning single to Brandon Sullivan and struck out seven as Saco & Biddeford Savings (4-0) defeated Libby-Mitchell (1-3) in a five-inning mercy-rule game at Westbrook.
Zach Gardiner’s home run gave Saco-Biddeford a 1-0 lead in the second inning. Scott Heath had a two-run homer in the five-run fourth.
FALMOUTH 6: NOVA SEAFOOD 4: Falmouth (2-3) scored five runs in the first inning in a win over visiting Nova Seafood (2-2).
Brett Emmertz hit a two-run single, Nick Spencer added a two-run double and Jeremy Lydick had an RBI double in the first for Falmouth.
Mason Morgan hit an RBI double in Nova’s two-run sixth.
SACO-BIDDEFORD SAVINGS 11, MASSABESIC 2: Taylor Reuillard had three hits, including a grand-slam during an eight-run second inning for visiting Saco-Biddeford Savings against Massabesic in a five-inning Zone 5 game.
Dan Reed and Casey Nava each had two hits for Massabesic.
FAYETTE-STAPLES 10, BONANZA OF SANFORD 0: Keegan Sullivan pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and Fayette-Staples (5-0) beat Bonanza of Sanford (2-3) in five innings at Saco.
Sam Canales, Trevor Fleurent, Steve Harmon and Alex Richardson-Newton each had two hits for Fayette-Staples, which scored four in the first and three each in the second and third.
SWASEY-TORREY3, SMITH-TOBEY 2: Arik Fenstermacher struck out 12 and pitched out of a seventh-inning jam to lift Swasey-Torrey (1-1) over Smith-Tobey at Rumford.
Torrey Charnock pitched a five-hitter with eight strikeouts for Smith-Tobey.
ANDREWS POST 3, OA-YARMOUTH 0: Jon DiBiase hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning for visiting Andrews (4-1) against OA-Yarmouth (2-3).
Ryan Dixon pitched a five-hitter while striking out six for the win.
RAMSDELL-ROGERS 13, STAPLES CROSSING 6: Tanner Chase singled home Benjamin Lawlor and Alex Mercurio scored on a passed ball as Ramsdell-Rogers (3-1) broke a 5-5 tie with two runs in the fourth inning against Staples Crossing (4-3) in South Berwick.
Chase had three hits.

WINDHAM 15, FALMOUTH 0: Spencer Hodge and Shawn Francoeur combined on a five-inning no-hitter as Windham (5-0) beat visiting Falmouth (1-4).
Nate Boyle had a three-run double and Joey Francoeur added a two-run single during an eight-run third inning that gave Windham a 9-0 lead.
CAPE ELIZABETH 11, SOUTH PORTLAND 4: Seth Dobieski had a two-run double and Xander Schonewolf had a two-run single as Cape Elizabeth (3-2) used a seven-run fourth inning to beat South Portland (1-3) at Cape Elizabeth.
SEACOAST 10, FREEPORT MEDICAL CENTER 5: Aaron Duncanson’s three-run homer in the sixth inning gave Seacoast a 7-4 lead on the way to a victory over Freeport Medical Center (1-4) at Freeport.
Seacoast pulled within 5-4 on Keenan Lowe’s two-run homer in the fifth.
FIRST TITLE 8, LEBANON 2: Brady Murray had two hits, including a two-run homer, and Adriano Paratore pitched a three-hitter with four strikeouts as First Title (2-2) handled Lebanon (0-3) at Lyman.
Cam McLain drove in three runs for First Title.
FAIRFIELD 6, CUMBERLAND 1: Isaiah Flemming pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and hit a two-run single in the first inning for visiting Fairfield (5-0) at Cumberland (1-2).
Connor Russell struck out 12 and Tucker Erdman had two hits for Cumberland.
FAYETTE-STAPLES 11, LIBBY-MITCHELL 1: Visiting Fayette-Staples (3-3) forced the mercy rule with a five-run fifth inning against Libby-Mitchell (1-4) at Scarborough.
Drew Gelinas pitched a four-hitter and Cam Jackman had two hits for Fayette-Staples.
Damian Ramsdell had two hits for Libby-Mitchell.
