NOBLEBORO — An elderly man who was reported missing from his home on the Back Meadow Road in Nobleboro earlier today was found this afternoon by a team of Maine Warden Service search dogs, about 600 feet from his residence.

Fernald Cunningham, 83, was conscious, but had to be taken to Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta for treatment.

Cunningham was reported missing by his son around 8 a.m. this morning, according to Lt. Michael Murphy of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities conducted a ground search for Cunningham, who reportedly has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
