FALMOUTH — The northbound on-ramp from the Falmouth spur to the Maine Turnpike will reopen this afternoon, several days ahead of schedule.

Scott Tompkins, spokesman for the Maine Turnpike Authority, said T-Buck Construction of Auburn had been given until June 15 to complete repair work to the ramp of the $6.5 million Presumpscot River Bridge project at Mile 52.

The next phase of the bridge project will require traffic pattern changes.

The entire project is scheduled to be finished in November.
