Longfellow Books will host two Boston-based authors at a reading Thursday night. Daphne Kalotay, who has taught writing at Middlebury College and Boston University, will read from her debut novel, “Russian Winter.” Jane Roper, who writes a blog about parenting twins, will read from her debut novel, “Eden Lake.” The book was inspired by Roper’s years at Maine summer camps.
