CAPE ELIZABETH — The Cape Elizabeth Land Trust raised $25,000 in new donations as part of its “25 for the 25th Challenge Grant.”

The year-long campaign was designed to recognize the land trust’s 25th anniversary and was reached in only six months.

Executive Director Chris Franklin said in a press release that the organization doubled all new gifts and increased giving by current members, generating $50,000 in incremental support.

There are nearly 600 acres of protected properties throughout Cape Elizabeth.
