5/1 at 12:15 a.m. Michael Newell, 46, of Brook Road, Portland, was arrested by Officer Antonio Ridge on a charge of operating after suspension.

5/3 at 8:32 p.m. Ruel Goodblood Jr., 55, of Vernon, N.Y., was arrested by Officer Chris Woodcock on a charge of operating under the influence.

Summonses

4/23 at 12:30 p.m. Mitchell Austin, 43, of Main Street, was issued a summons by Officer Mark Austin on a charge of assault.

4/24 at 3 a.m. Matthew Smith, 18, of Hidden Acres Lane, Gray, was issued a summons by Officer Antonio Ridge on a charge of trespass by motor vehicle.

4/28 at 2:25 p.m. Jacob Grandchamp, 18, of Cumberland, was issued a summons by Officer Kirk Mazuzan on a charge of possessing marijuana.

5/1 at 12:02 a.m. Richard Morey, 34, of Gray, was issued a summons by Officer Ryan Martin on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

5/2 at 2:28 p.m. Andrew Zeeb, 28, of Estes Drive, Freeport, was issued a summons by Officer Kirk Mazuzan on a charge of possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

Trash trials

5/2 at 3:35 p.m. Police responded to several calls during bulky waste pick-up reach, which ran last week. On this date, a caller who was picking up scrap metal left on the side of the road broke a piece of glass while removing metal from a Main Street address. While he cleaned up the glass, the owner of the property reportedly went outside and screamed at the caller, then threw a piece of wood at him as he drove away. Police did not charge the owner with anything. Police also received a complaint that day about someone leaving six tires and two TVs at the end of her driveway, and a caller the next day reported people leaving extra items in his trash.
