PORTLAND — The New Britain Rock Cats got to the Portland bullpen again to beat the Sea Dogs 4-1 today before 5,614 at Hadlock Field.

Sea Dogs starter Alex Wilson left the game in the sixth inning with a 1-0 lead, and a runner on second base.

But Portland reliever Caleb Clay allowed that runner to score, and three more. The Dogs’ bullpen also blew a lead in Friday night’s loss to the Rock Cats.

Portland dropped to 10-17, while New Britain is 16-12.

The Sea Dogs begin a six-game trip tonight in New Hampshire. They’ll return to Hadlock Field on May 17.
