Sutton scores in OT to boost Cheverus past Biddeford in a boys’ lacrosse opener, 6-5
Jack Sutton scored in overtime to lift Cheverus to a 6-5 win over Biddeford in an opener at Portland.
Jimmy Talbott scored twice for the Stags. John Butler had three goals for the Tigers, who overcame a 5-3 deficit in the fourth quarter.

NFL: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Chicago Bears at London’s Wembley Stadium in October if the NFL season isn’t altered by a labor dispute.
With the league and its locked-out players still mired in negotiations over a new labor agreement, the NFL on Monday announced its plans for what it hopes will be the fifth regular-season game played in the British capital.
This would be the fifth consecutive year that the NFL has staged a regular-season game in London.

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Andres Iniesta could be suspended from the first leg of Barcelona’s semifinal clash with Real Madrid. The UEFA is considering an additional one-game ban for Iniesta for allegedly provoking a yellow card in the first leg of his team’s knockout series against Shakhtar Donetsk, which ruled him out of the return leg.
If imposed, the Spain midfielder would miss the game at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium on April 27.
LA LIGA: New Jersey-born Giuseppe Rossi converted a penalty kick in the 71st minute for his 29th goal of the season, leading Villarreal over Zaragoza 1-0.
MLS: American midfielder Benny Feilhaber has agreed to a contract with Major League Soccer. Chivas USA has the first opportunity to sign the 25-year-old because it is atop the MLS allocation list and must decide by 5 p.m. today. If Chivas USA passes, Philadelphia is next.

PORCHE GRAND PRIX: Eighth-seeded Marion Bartoli beat Tsvetana Pironkova 6-4, 6-1 to advance to the second round in Stuttgart, Germany.
BARCELONA OPEN: Santiago Giraldo eliminated 13th-seeded Thomaz Bellucci 7-5, 6-3 in the opening round in Barcelona, Spain.
HORSE RACING
RUN TO THE ROSES TOP 10: Hall of Fame trainer Nick Zito will likely saddle the favorite in his bid to win the Kentucky Derby for the third time.
Zito’s Florida Derby winner Dialed In moves into the No. 1 spot in the AP’s latest Run to the Roses Top 10 list of Derby contenders following a weekend of prep race upsets.
The Factor drops from No. 1 to No. 10 after his seventh-place finish in the Arkansas Derby, with 25-1 long shot winner Archarcharch storming in at No. 5. Nehro finished inches behind Archarcharch and enters the list at No. 6.
Santiva was ninth in the Blue Grass on Saturday and falls out of the Top 10 from last week’s No. 5 spot. Brilliant Speed won at 19-1 odds. Zito won the Derby with Strike the Gold in 1991 and Go for Gin in 1994.
The Derby is May 7.
