Mainers’ best in photo exhibit

THE MAINE PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW opens Saturday and features more than 100 photographs by Maine photographers. More than 600 images were submitted, and jurist Jay Stock selected his top 100.

THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND Art Gallery in Portland hosts “Critters,” an exhibition of paintings and sculpture curated by Nancy Davidson that represents three groups of work: wildlife, farm animals and pets in situations. More than 100 artists are represented.
