PORTLAND — Students from Casco Bay High School have attracted the attention of local media while helping to build homes and restore wetlands in Biloxi, Miss.

The junior class is on its “Junior Journey,” a yearly trip that’s part of the high school’s Expeditionary Learning program. The students are helping out in the wake of Hurricane Katrina and the Gulf oil spill.
