The Portland Donor Center, 524 Forest Ave., is open noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday; and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first and third Saturday of each month.

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday (except holidays), and noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday,

Platelet donors also are needed. Donations by appointment.
