PROMOTIONS

Susan Gross, former office manager at the Landing School, was promoted to assistant to the president and student services coordinator. Gross will enhance and expand the services available to current and incoming students, such as providing information about financial aid, housing, advising and community.

Nicole R. Morton was named manager of KeyBank’s Maine Street, Brunswick, branch. Morton, of Portland, was previously the relationship manager of retail banking for KeyBank. 

Linda Gee was named vice president of finance and administration at Norton Lamb & Co. Gee joined the company in 2002 and is responsible for developing and implementing its strategic plans and business processes.

Kyla Khuu was promoted to sales manager for the U.S. Cellular retail store at the Maine Mall in South Portland.

AWARDS and RECOGNITION

Fiber Materials Inc. received a Tibbetts Award from the Small Business Administration for its high-performance composites. The award recognizes the company’s extensive history of work under the SBA’s Innovative Research Program. Since 1983, the company has remained active in materials and technology development through NASA and Department of Defense programs.

GENERAL

The following individuals were named to the board of directors at Good Shepherd Food-Bank: Jill Brown, director of shelter services at Safe Voices; William French of Kraft Foods; Julie McQuillan, community relations manager at TD Bank; Randy Mraz, who recently retired after 30 years at the Maine Department of Agriculture; Todd Nadeau, dean of institutional advancement at Maine Central Institute; and Rodney Stover, assistant general manager of the Walmart Distribution Center.
