DaPonte tackles Borodin, Beethoven

THE DAPONTE STRING QUARTET celebrates spring with gigantic works of Borodin and Beethoven. The DaPonte will perform Borodin’s String Quartet No. 2 in D Major, and Beethoven’s String Quartet in B-flat Major, Op.130-133.

From the peninsula to Zanzibar

A GROUP of artists from Portland and a group from the island of Zanzibar collaborate on an exchange of prints in an exhibition at Portland Public Library, with each group embellishing and advancing the other’s work on a series of fine-art prints.
