This Sunday is when maple sugarhouses around the state are open to the public.

The annual event is a showcase for the state’s maple syrup industry, with farms and sugarhouses hosting pancake breakfasts, syrup-making demonstrations, tours, wagon rides and other activities. Often, the demonstrations and tours are free, but pancakes, syrup and other items may be sold.
