AWARDS
Mary Anne Klement, Westbrook, was selected for a national teaching fellowship by the Woodrow Wilson-Rockefeller Brothers Fund Aspiring Teachers of Color. A senior English major at the University of Southern Maine, Klement, a Dean’s List student, will receive a $30,000 stipend to assist with completing a master’s degree in education, preparation to teach in a high-need public school, support throughout a three-year teaching commitment and guidance toward teaching certification.
