BIDDEFORD – Brady Fleurent had a goal and two assists for Biddeford, which rallied to earn a 3-3 tie against St. Dominic and remain undefeated in a schoolboy hockey game Saturday at the Biddeford Ice Arena.
The Tigers (14-0-3) had to make up deficits of 2-0 and 3-2 against the Saints (12-3-2).
Scott Callahan tied the game for good on a power play midway through the third period, just two minutes after Danny Nadeau gave the Saints a 3-2 lead.
The Tigers were down 2-0 after one period, but Bryan Dallaire pulled them within one at 3:37 of the second from Fleurent and Tyson Nadeau. Fleurent scored from Eric Grover to tie the game with 2:23 left in the period.
CHEVERUS 4, PORTLAND 3: Sterling Weatherbie and Liam Fitzpatrick each had a goal and an assist for the Stags (10-7), who rallied to beat the Bulldogs (6-11) at Portland.
MARSHWOOD/TRAIP ACADEMY 7, WINDHAM/SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Peter Lajeunesse scored four goals as Marshwood/Traip Academy (15-2) beat Windham/Sacopee Valley (2-15) at Gorham.
CAPE ELIZABETH 6, LEAVITT 3: Vinny Dell’Aquila had a hat trick and an assist to lift the Capers (13-5) over the Hornets (7-11) at Auburn.
GORHAM 8, CONY 2: Eliot Gagne and Casey Viel each had a goal and two assists for Gorham (6-12), which scored three unanswered goals in the second to take a 4-2 lead against visiting Cony (3-13-1).
KENNEBUNK 5, BONNY EAGLE 0: Kurt Oakman, Jack Kennedy and Peter Gotlieb finished with one goal and one assist apiece to lead the Rams (6-11-1) over the Scots (4-14) at Biddeford.
THORNTON ACADEMY 2, FALMOUTH 0: Andrew Carignan scored at 2:08 of the second period and Rob Downing added a goal 10 minutes later as the Trojans (12-5) edged the Yachtsmen (8-6-3) at Falmouth.
Jay Finch extended his shutout streak to eight periods for Thornton.
GREELY 4, YARMOUTH 2: Kenny Richards scored twice for Greely (14-2-1), which took a 3-0 lead in the first 16 minutes and beat the Clippers (9-8) at Yarmouth.
NOBLE 3, MASSABESIC-OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Spencer Goodrich scored from Grady Wheeler after 3:58 of the third period to break a 1-1 tie and lift the Knights (13-4) over the Mustangs (8-10) at Rochester, N.H.
YORK 13, CAMDEN HILLS 1: Anthony Figlioli had a hat trick to lead York (12-5) over Camden Hills (6-12) at Dover, N.H.
Ryan Curtin and Jared Clausen each had a pair of goals for the Wildcats.
