New dance studio opens

Bangor Savings branches out

Bangor Savings Bank has opened its newest branch on Allen Avenue in Portland. The new office, the bank’s 55th branch in Maine, marks the third of a four-branch expansion into the Portland market.

Town, land trust launch site

The town of Falmouth and the Falmouth Land Trust have launched a Parks and Public Lands website, highlighting public-access areas of the town and points of interest associated with those resources.

The site is intended to help outdoor enthusiasts locate parks and open space in Falmouth, including boat launches and land preserve trails.

Appliance store marks move

Agren Appliance & Television held a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the recent move of its South Paris retail store to 313 Main St., Norway.

The new store has 25,000 square feet of showroom space on three levels and is more than three times larger than the former store.

Norway is the first Agren location to carry living room and dining room furniture in addition to appliances, televisions and mattresses.

Founded in 1969, the family-owned operation has stores in Auburn, Brunswick, South Portland and Waldoboro as well as in Norway.
