BOSTON UNIVERSITY 5, MAINE 2: Catherine Ward, Jenn Wakefield and Jenelle Kohanchuk scored in the first seven minutes as the Terriers (18-2-3, 8-1-3 Hockey East) beat the Black Bears (9-11-4, 3-7-2) at Boston.

Myriam Croussette and Dawn Sullivan scored first-period goals for the Black Bears, and Brittany Ott finished with 37 saves. 

CONNECTICUT COLLEGE 4, BOWDOIN 3: Dominique Lozzi had a goal and an assist for the Polar Bears (8-5-1, 5-3 NESCAC) in a loss to the Camels (7-7, 5-5) at New London, Conn.

Emily Tang and Kim Tess-Wanat also scored for Bowdoin. 

HAMILTON 2, COLBY 1: Gigi Fraser scored the go-ahead goal midway through the third period as the Continentals (5-7, 4-4 NESCAC) rallied from an early deficit against the Mules (5-10, 1-7) at Clinton, N.Y.

Stephanie Scarpato gave Colby a 1-0 lead in the first period.
